I believe that our lives are as happy and fullfilled as we chose to make them, and for me that 'making' comes in the giving and sharing of things that are important to me. That is why I have chosen to support 2 local charities - The Noah's Ark Trust and St Richards Hospice, whose work sits very close to my heart.

Both these wonderful organisations support  both individuals and families. St Richards Hospice caring for those suffering from cancer and Noah's Ark supporting children and their families throughout bereavement. Both offer 'hands on'' practical care and thats why I decided that my support  has to be equally 'hands on' and practical.

So this is what I will do :-

1. Have a end of year 'Sale party' where my collections,of New, Hired and Retired hats will  be priced to sell, all profits being shared 50/50 between the two charities.

2. Ask you join in and help as well. Firstly by coming to the party and bringing your friends, secondly by giving back the hat you purchased !!.

These 'gift hats' would  return into my collection for hire or purchase with all profits going to the Charities. If ultimately your Hat was not purchased, then it would join all my others to be included in the 'Sale Party'.

3. Provide you with an opportunity to sell any of your Occasion hats at the 'Sale Party' and 50% of the vendor commision will be donated to the charities.

After the event I will send you a note telling you how much was collectively raised and also what your contribution was.  

Now that's a Champagne Experience !!
