If you’re looking to have a bespoke item made or simply need some advice and assistance on what headwear to go for and how to wear it then an appointment with head milliner Jane is perfect.
Jane can talk you through the process of how your item (whether it be a hat, custom cape or bridal headpiece) will be magically crafted from the most gorgeous high end fabrics and materials. Jane can also show you how to style items to suit looks, hair styles and different aesthetics.

Please bring your outfit or inspiration behind what you’d like to have created as this will allow us to chose styles and colour match more accurately, you’ll have around an hour with Jane browsing and trying on as many styles as necessary to ensure you’re 100% happy with your piece.
Jane will talk you through fabric options, trims and all the other glamorous elements that go into making a fabulous hat. Collaborating in this way ensures Jane can make something truly unique and personal for your special event. Should you feel you need longer or have time restraints please discuss this when making your appointment.
If there is an existing hat you fall in love with then this may also be available to purchase or hire! If you do decide on an entirely bespoke hat then please allow six weeks for this to be made, or make us aware should you require it sooner and we will always try to accommodate.
Should you not want to commit to buying a hat, hiring is the perfect alternative. We have a range of fascinators and hats in store to try on and find something you feel amazing in, there’s also the possibility of something being altered to suit your colour scheme. If there isn’t anything perfect in store then we do offer the very special service of a bespoke hire, we will make the piece exactly to your specifications and offer this on a hire at a percentage of the retail price. Hats are ‘retired’ after 3 hires, so you know you’re always wearing something that’s impeccable. When you come for your appointment and decide on a hat to hire a deposit will need to be paid and we can book you in! Hats are hired out on a 5 day basis but please let us know should you need the hat for longer due to travel or other circumstances and we can try to accommodate. We understand accidents happen however we do expect you take great care of hire items on your special occasion. Should the hat or trims become damaged the full price of the hat will be chargeable and the hat will become yours to keep. We will make you aware of the full price of the hat at the time of hire and work out the hire charge based off this. Should you need to cancel the hire of a piece please try and give a weeks notice, should it be less than 7 days then unfortunately deposits cannot be returned. Please return all hire pieces in their original hat box or packaging to ensure they stay immaculate for future use. Should you love your hat so much you want to purchase it please let us know!
